I'm doing some research and am putting this question out to all the Mac trivia/history buffs on the forum.
You may know that at some point in Macbook history, Apple moved the "sleep-inducing" magnets from the side to the top of the screen. Here's proof the side magnets existed! https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/mbp-has-a-magnet-inside-the-screen.354919/
I'd like to know what model was responsible for the "up"-grade, and even better if you know why they did it?
