Hi there,

Whenever i load any videos or play any games on my macbook air, the game or the video runs really slow and jumps. The trackpad also jumps and the computer is just generally slower and not as smooth.

What is the problem and is there anything i can do to fix it.

Thanks a lot, Adam :)

What are the specs if it's the oldest model you may need coolbook but if it has a 9400M graphics card it may be a hardware issue does it have an 64 or 80gb hard drive?

If you have a REV:A 64GB or 80GB Hard drive you will have graphic issues and need coolbook. REV:B and C are very alike. About this mac after you click the apple will also tell you if you have intel GMA or 9400M Graphics. If you are Rev:B or C give Apple a call if you still have Apple Care.

It depends on video resolution and format. For example mkv are quite sluggish even with powerful macs.

Install Perian (codec for quicktime and operating system itself) and Flip4Mac

You can also try with VLC.

http://perian.org/

Maybe you have hardware problem and you should call apple or go in a apple store and show the problem. Maybe you have faulty harddrive or gfx.
