I have a new Apple Watch Series 6 with Cellular. I'm having trouble with the Spotify app that is on my Apple Watch.
I had it playing on my AirPods a couple times, but the other times it played on my iPhone. On the app on the watch, there is an icon to select the device. When there is a problem with it connecting to the Watch/AirPods, it flashes the icon which in then in the form of a watch.
When you click through that you go to the device selection for the sound. Here it shows the Watch in a permanent "Connecting..." state. I can select the iPhone or another audio device if I select it.
I tried turning bluetooth off on the phone but that did not help.
Checking the setting on my Apple Watch under Bluetooth, shows the AirPods as connected.
Anyone else having this trouble?
