I recently purchased a new iPhone 15 Pro Max and was attempting to switch from my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Using the Move to iOS app, I was able to transfer most of my data, however not all of my SMS messages came over in the transfer. I tried power cycling the iPhone and even tried resetting it and transferring again three times total, and it still is not transferring all of my messages. I got so frustrated that I returned the iPhone but I really do want to switch so I'm hoping someone here can help. And I don't want to have to download a 3rd party (that I have to pay for) in order to transfer my data. Switching from iOS to Android was simple and easy, but going the other way seems to be more difficult than necessary.

My last Android was Galaxy Note9. I used move to iPs and it did move my messages except the ones I had in Signal and I was using Signal as my SMS app in Android for a period. But all messages I had in Samsung SMS app got moved.
