Is anyone else having trouble turning off SSH in 1.1.4? I can turn off SSH using the Services app. However, if I turn off my phone and turn it back on, then SSH is enabled again. What's the deal? Anyone else having this issue?

use BossPrefs instead - far better
Nice, BossPrefs IS a better app. However, it does the same thing. You turn off SSH, power off the phone and SSH is turned on again.

I've heard this is suppose to work like that in order to ssh into the phone if you brick it. However, is there a way to change the root password. This was an issue with 1.1.3, not sure about 1.1.4.

mine doesnt turn back on

go into bossprefs, then config in the top left, make sure "SSH on Reboot always" is off

and no way to change password

Can I ask the opposite question. How did people turn ssh on. I just get connection refused. Phone is jailbroken, do I just need to install and app?
