Trouble updating apps

Has anyone else had this trouble? When I get apps to update they don't always work, and some i can just cancel and start again but others get properly stuck. The phone has uninstalled Facebook pages manager and won't let me install it again because when I find it in the App Store the icon is the stop square, so the phone thinks it's installed and about to update. It has the same thing going on with Dropbox, although it hasn't uninstalled that.

I've rebooted the phone and updated to the latest fix, but it's still the same

I've had the same trouble. The only fix I've found is to go in through settings to storage and delete the app that way, then try deleting from the home screen and redownloading.

it is VERY frustrating though - it happens once or twice a day on various apps. Not specific to any one.

Another buggy POS x.0 release as of late from Apple...

Thanks I'll try that. Will it lose my Dropbox settings? The annoying thing is it's also uninstalled another app and I don't know what one

Make sure the icon is gone too.

That went first. The phone just removed it by itself
