I'm using the Flickr Uploader for Mac to backup all my photos privately to Flickr.

Problem is that I keep seeing "Trouble uploading to Flickr".

I've tried rebooting and the internet connection is fixed and solid, so I've no idea why I get this error message - always within five minutes of the upload starting, after a few photos have worked OK.

Anyone else experiencing this?

If you use Flickr or any other on-line storage for photo backup you risk losing stuff if/when they go down. Backup to a local HD or two and use Flickr as a portfolio site.

I just returned from vacation to find my iMac (Sierra) no longer uploading to Flickr. While it's an imperfect fix, I logged out of the Flickr Uploadr and logged back in. I presume this means that Flickr uploaded items that I had previously deleted. That's hardly a crisis. For what it's worth, I use Flickr to create an additional backup of my photo library but also to share images in a way that I don't share in other locations. It's also a different way to search for a particular image should my memory/search methods fail elsewhere.
