I've been searching on the internet about this issue and I can't find anything about it, so I was wondering if anybody could help me.

My MBP is a 2,4 GHz w/ a Nividia 9600m GT. I played the game under Windows XP, Windows 7, Leopard and now on Snow Leopard using this computer, and lately I've been having lag issue with the game.

I normally get 110-120 FPS in Full-Screen in the native res.

Sometimes, my Framerate will fall to 20 FPS for 2-3 secs and go back to what it normally was. Then this cycle will repeat iself for every 5 secs until I close the game.

I really REALLY don't know why it's happening. Lowering video options, closing all the backgroups apps, playing in a windows or using a lower res will not help in any way.

When it happens, my CPU and memory aren't loaded.

What can I do?

I have the same issue with tf2 on my mid 2010 macbook. (2.4 ghz duel core, geforce 320m, 2 gigs ram) and my framerate is like 30ish and drops to 10-20 for no reason and goes back to 30. Could it be a ram problem? Do i need more ram?
