I already clean the lighting input and have reset it with the power button and home button together. No go! Any other suggestions woud be welcome. How much would it cost to get a new lighting input port and install it?

I think it is the input port that does not work! Doe not recognized it when I usb my PC and does not recognized it at all! Brand new lighting cable.

I going to try to find a replacement for it and if not buy a brand new 2022 when it is release in April!

first make sure that the charging cable and power supply are working.

then I suggest you use a magnifying glass and inspect the connector inside - the connector prongs inside are located only towards the back of the iPad - not on the side towards the screen. Check wether there is some lint or dirt and if there is, remove it carefully with a e.g. tooth prick.

you can try to achieve a better fit of the lightning cable by placing a piece of electrical tape into the charging lightning female connector whole.

Hopefully this solves your problem.
