trouble with x11

Hi
I'm having trouble with X11. Everytime I try to start X11 it will only bounce in the dock and then disappear. I tried reinstalling from X11 by downloading the app from the apple website, but when I started to install the installer informed me that I already have a new version installed and that it cannot install. I'm really clueless as what to do. It worked before I installed Tiger, but I havn't used it since.

I'm not sure if my description of my problem is very clear, but any help would be appreciated.

check the logs in the console utility...

You need to X11 on the Tiger install disk. I think that Pacifist may be able to help...

X11's been updated for Tiger, so you'll need to reinstall it. Insert your Tiger DVD, click the Optional Installs icon, then go to Customise and choose X11.
