How do you properly diagnose if the L-shape tip is working or shorted on this MagSafe1 MBP charger?
I have green/orange light - but the inverter brick is kind of messed up.

there
how messed up is the inverter part?
there has to be a meter reading as what volts and amps that emits.
the power supply is an , correct?

Take a pic of the power brick and post it here, so we can see what's "messed up".

Yeah its an original A1344 60W Magsafe1.
The AC primary fuse died. Bypassed it. Messing around. Some spark.
This is dead.
Keep it for parts if needed.

Since I know I can charge my late-2011 MBP 13" with an Anker 537 65W power-bank + 60W USB-C to MagSafe adapter, I'm going to just look into a 60+W USB-C wall charger.

update, got the usb-c charger, works okay, but isn't grounded anymore :(
