Could anyone check TrueHD, DTS-HD passthrough via HDMI 2.0?

Does it matter? There’s still no OS support for 23.976fps, no support for HDR, no support for object-based audio tracks.

I’m guessing that it will transcode lossless audio to PCM, but that’s it.

There’s zero point for the mini as an HTPC in near-2019. Even Apple knows this, which is why they’ve even removed the IR port on the mini.

I agree. Just get a ATV4k.

From a hardware standpoint yes, it can pass that audio. Even much much older computers can. It's really about the software you're using.
