Trying to Alphabetize Bookmarks

Hi everyone.

If I go to Edit Bookmarks and right click on the bookmarks folder 'Miscellaneous' so that I can sort it alphabetically, I no longer get the 'Sort By' option in the drop down menu as shown by the screen shots below. What am I doing wrong?

From a brief experiment - there's a limit somewhere past 250 bookmarks, beyond which the 'sort by' option stops being available.

Hey, these computers can only do billions of CPU instructions every second and have gigabytes of RAM, give them a break.
