I've tried adding youtube.com to websites to block under parental controls, but the site is still accessible.
specifically, I went to Parental Controls > Web > Customize > Never allow these websites and I added youtube.com and www.youtube.com (which i think should just be redundant).

Anyone have any idea why this isn't working, and how to make it work?

I just noticed that the blocking works in safari, but not in chrome. Shouldn't this website blocking be throughout as opposed to just in safari?

another update - i tried app restrictions so that chrome is disallowed. result - chrome could still run. I gave up on that and removed the app restrictions, and deleted chrome. Then out of curiosity, i just put chrome back and tried again - now the app is blocked, even though i removed the app restrictions. Seriously, what is this garbage, Apple?

I'm going to try applying system updates and see if this has been fixed (it's been a while).

hmm, nevermind. Chrome can still access youtube, so i guess i'll just have to block Chrome (it did work for a while though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
