I'm having some issues getting mms to work on my phone. I downloaded a carrier file so I would have the option of sending mms messages. I then borrow my Dad's non-iphone and put my sim card in it and made a phone call. Then when I checked my phones on my online account it showed that I had his phone now. So it gave me the option of selecting a non-iphone texting plan which I did. Then I sent a picture message from his phone and it worked. After that I put my sim card back in my iphone and sent another picture message and it worked again.

So then my friend who has a 2g iphone wanted to do the same thing with his phone. We did the same thing to his phone and it worked. But when I tried sending him a test picture message it gave me an error. He could still send picture messages but I couldn't any more. Could it having something to do with him using the same non-iphone to do this?

Not flaming you, but you might have better luck posting this in the other threads that deal with MMS. Have you even looked? Anyway, I will say that it is hit or miss with it working. Some have tried what you did, and it works for a few minutes. Some, well they love to come on here and tell you how it "still" works for them. I'm thinking it is very few that actually have it working. Also, AT&T was doing sweeps to remove it, so even when you get it working, it stops.

I think I've said too much....:)
