Ok i have a few questions.

1. Can i just touch a butter knife to ground myself?

2. Do you remove the stickers from the memory i purchased? I got 4GB from Crucial.

Thanks

So

If I take my socks off, and touch a butter knife before i install the memory I will be fine?

And you said i dont need to remove the stickers from the memory?

thanks

sitting with your feet on tile or concrete is preferable to carpet.

sitting with your feet on low nap carpet is preferable to high nap carpet.

just make sure to touch the outside metal part of the imac to discharge any static before touching the insides.

I searched and found way to remove the electricity from you easily. Just touch the body of computer before adding the memory (power cord must be off). That's it
