Get the chime and everything, but it’s just stuck on a white screen.
I’m well aware these cards are not supported on Mac OS, but surely they should run in bootcamp, right?
I haven't done any power modifications but my old R9 280X draws more power than the 2070S.

I’m on a 5.1 Mac Pro, 6 core W3680 and 16gb of RAM. One bootcamp drive installed with Windows 10.

Many thanks.

A 2070S is a recent card. Have you got a 2nd video card available, something Win10 already runs under? Win10 may need to successfully boot, see the 2070S, and install drivers. Before it can boot with just your 2070S.

I'm far from a Windows expert. But I do find Windows more finicky about new hardware than macOS is.

ps - you've selected your Windows drive as the bootup drive already, right? The boot selector will not work on any PC card.

I have an R9 280X but that’s an AMD card, so presumably I can’t have the two in the system at the same time. Besides, I’m fairly certain the PSU wouldn't handle that.
I do also have the stock GT 120 that came with the system if that would work. I’d have to hunt down a DVI cable for it.

Regarding the windows drive being the boot drive; the only drive in the system currently is that drive. I tried the 280X in there and it works perfectly, so I should be good on that front.

Thanks for the reply!
