I'm trying to use the FSOTT hack with no luck, now I'm looking at Unibeast, I also don;t really know how to make a USB boot drive either. Getting lost. I wish there was an easier way. I'm still on 10.6.8.

Trying to Install Yosemite on 2006 1,1 Mac Pro

I used this pre-patched Piker Yosemite install image with good success.
Downloaded using my browser, takes awhile because it is a large 5+GB file.

I tried that and I downloaded ti twice but it keeps saying "file is corrupted" when I try to unstuff it.
Thanks, I tried to download it but the current version does not work with 10.6.8. There is an older version as well but that version does not open and work. I think I might have to upgrade my OS to 10.7 or later for unarchiver to work.
