Hi All,

Im trying to backup my current Macbook Pro, where I can run it as a bootable clone and also be able to search for certain files easily.

I am running Catalina 10.15.17 on a 2016 MBP, and have a Samsung Touch T7 SSD. I did what I thought I had to first, connected it, opened disk utility, erased it, picked APFS, GUID Scheme and it completed.

Then I opened up CCC but Im confused, Destination would be my SSD, but what is source? I have 2 volumes show up Macintosh HD, and Macintosh HD - Data. (Screenshots below)

Which is my source? I want my backup to be able to have all data and files easily for me to search, and also be a bootable backup. I have done a lot of searching but cant find much about this. Which do I select, then do I just hit clone? Do I need to do any advance settings? I dont need any scheduling or anything, just to make a single bootable clone and be done.

Thanks
