Alternatively, if you take your PC and your iMac to an Apple Store, an Apple Genius can transfer all of your data for you, and help you set up the iPhone.

I got a new Macbook and have authorized this Mac and transferred purchases from my iPhone to the Macbook. Now I want to sync the two but it is warning me that my iPhone can only be synced with one library and that it must erase and sync.

My question is since I transferred my apps from the iPhone to my Macbook will syncing with this new library wipe any of the data from my apps? i.e. will I lose game saves, lists, preferences and other in app content?
