First my setup I am currently running Sierra on a mid 2012 15in MBP. I have iMovie 10.
During this COVID virus we are all goning though. I have discovered on old back up drive with a number of family videos I did with iMovie 15 years ago per the dates on the files.
Each project contains Cache folder and Media Folder familyxxx.mov file and a project file.
I tried open this with iMovie 10, doesn't work. Tried to open the *.mov file. It started to convert the file and then quicktime bombed at the very end.
The best case scenario for me would be reopen some how in the current iMovie
I would settle for converting the *.mov files to play with current config.
I also have Idvd project saved along with these movies.
Any help would be appreciated.
