I'm trying to SSH a theme to my phone. I have both Winterboard and OpenSSH but when I connect to my phone there is no Themes folder in Library.

Whats going on?

In what directory should I be creating the folder "Themes". The full director from /private...

re: Trying to SSH a theme.

Are you going to the right "Library" folder? Correct path is "/Library/Themes". Click on the root folder to bring you to the first page that has Library on it. There are different subfolders labeled Library that are not correct for Themes.

This is true. I always get lost and confused when I am sshing in my iphone, because there are multiple folders in different locations with the same names. It gets confusing. That is most likely the problem.

I've made the folder and put on my theme. I've even reset my phone.

Is there some way to reset Winterboard or what? No idea why this aint workin

Yeah, I've tried it all over. Shouldn't Winterboard have created a folder named Themes by default?

Try downloading a Theme from Cydia. Then found the folder it is in. Then put your own theme in the same folder. Thats how I did it. Are you creating the right folders and icons in Themes? icons have to be a certain size and end with lowercase png not PNG.

I had that idea. Would it need to be a special kind of Theme, i.e., (Complete), (SB Setting) Etc or can it be any one?

re: Trying to SSH a theme.

Here is the path. root/Library/Themes

Make a folder on your desktop call it whatever you like ie:GuerilloTheme

Open cyberduck connect to iphone

From the drop down box choose the root folder /

so

/library/themes

Drag your folder in there

Open winterboard on your iphone, click on your theme folder that now shows up and make sure you tick it so its on

click home and your done :)

don't mean to steal this thread, but how would one go about changing permissions after you ssh the app/theme?

I don't think you need to change permissions as Winterboard does it automatically?

For previous versions such as Summerboard & 1.1.4 firmware JB I think you might have needed to change permissions.

I am not entirely sure on all this, but my themes work right away without any modifying of permissions but then again I used Quickpwn on OS X - the pwnage tool might work differently with Winterboard. (unsure)

I'll have a look see on google see what info there is on this cause it's peaked my interest.
