trying to ssh into iphone with cyberduck

hi, i am trying to ssh into my iphone (it is jailbroken)
but it wont connect.

what am i doing wrong?
i go to wifi and use the current ip address
and using the username root and the password alpine
and it doesnt connect..

Did you change your OpenSSH password on your phone ?

Be sure that when you click the 'Open Connection' button, you're using 'SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)'.

cant connect

i tried to connect to cyberduck. I put everything from the tutorial that i saw and it still wont connect. I saw on another that i have to do something to the installer. What is this?

i would seriously recommend that you change that "alpine" password!

you haven't mentioned that you had OpenSSH switched on, ensure that OpenSSH is on (or better still ensure that it is installed!!). turn it on via sbsettings. Switch it off when you are not using it (and/or after a iphone reset) especially when you still have "alpine" as your root password!
