I have recently been having problems installing "The Sims 2 University" Expansion Pack for Mac.
I have been searching this forum and many other forums for answers, and have tried nearly everything and nothing seems to be working.
The problem that is occurring is that when I double click on the "University Package Installer" while having the sims 2 package installer open, it gives the impression of the installation starting, and an applications icon appears (The white paper, with the "A" made out of stationary) and bounces in my dock, then after 2 seconds of bouncing, completely disappears, and leaves no trace of ever being there, there is even no error message or anything.
I have tried re-installing The original Sims 2 game, and then trying to install University, but the same thing happens, over and over again.
I am very frustrated as I have not been able to enjoy this game I received as a Christmas Present.

Does anybody have any idea of what to do to fix this and install University Properly?

Thanks.
