Anybody currently using this bag right now...I am considering getting this bag as it offers decent protection....I will be traveling rather extensively for the next year or so and will need a good bag for my black macbook while I carry it in my backpack....
any reviews on this bag is appreciated...

i think i'm the only one who has ever owned one. I bought one for my macbook (13") but then i promptly sold it again.

it wasn't quite what i was looking for

the inside material was slick "vinyl" like and the outside was a little bit more coarse. I ended up getting a marware sportfolio instead because i like the feel of neoprene.

but it was a nice looking case. was there something in particular you wanted to know about it?

i liked the pouch that was hidden inside the outer pocket because you could expand the amount of accessories you can potentially hold without adding much bulk to the overall case.

the prices were reasonable, too

I had one of these for a while. I used it for a couple of months with my asus w7j before I sold the laptop with the bag. I really liked the design of the bag (it was professional/simple) but I didn't really like the protection. Like uicandrew mentioned above the inside was vinyl and it feels like it make scratch the macbook. A similiar bag would probably be the incase that can be had for around the same price. Just so you know the my macbook didn't fit snug in it either because it was so thin.

If you just plan on putting it in your backpack then I recommend getting a good sleeve instead. I found that I almost always used the tucano bag as a sleeve and just threw it in my backpack so I got a zeroshock III sleeve for my macbook. Offers great protection with a slim profile in my backpack.

I haven't use one myself, so I can't comment on it, but the Incase Nylon Sleeve has a very similar design to the Workout one, but has a furlined area for the laptop.

i have a 12" Orange WorkOut bag for my ibook. it was one of the best looking carrying case i have seen (we dont get that much selections here in vancouver, bc). The bag was very durable and i dont find the vinyl to be a problem with scratching at all. The bag is in between a sleeve and an actual "computer bag" so its very versatile (solo use or put the WO bag in another backpack). My 12" WO also fits the ibook snugly.

In fact, i just got another one for my SR MBP. However, this one is a bit funny. It seems like there's an about half an inch of space between my mbp and the top zipper (which i didnt find it in my old 12" case). I think the QC has gone down for Tucano over the year. I have noticed (in the store) that not every 15.4 cases has the "exact" physical dimensions.

anyhow, its a great bag. i highly recommend it (just bring your laptop and test it there before the purchase to make sure the fit). its a good looking and functional bag for sure.

cheers,
Howard

My dad has the dark brown/black one. I love the design and quality of the bag, but is too small to be a main bag. The power adaptor makes a big bulk in the pocket.
