I am speaking of the app called Turbo Charger.

1. Does it really charge your iPhone fast?
2. If yes, how does it do that?
3. Assuming it works, then, is it safe for the battery?

you notice only the comments say it charges faster? either the alarm lets you know better or they are full of brown stuff. the battery would only charge faster if you used a higher amp charger and the electronics could handle the load.

It dosnt help your phone charge quicker at all it just gives you an estimated charge time and what your phone can do on that level of charge.

lol

App doesn't say anything about charging faster  just another App giving breakdown of battery performance and status like 100 other apps. one reviewer who claimed it charged his phone faster clearly doesn't under stand that a app can not do this. ;)

well yes and no... Hear me out on this
When you plug in your phone to charge when it's turned off, the phone turns itself on right? Well, I know this app doesn't do this but WHAT IF an app turned to phone off while charging, that way there is nothing running the battery while charging thus giving you a full charge faster via an app :D

It's called hold the lock button for 6 seconds then slide to turn off when the phone is plugged in...

be careful of just using higher current to charge your phone quicker. Fast battery chargers have lots of elecronics to stop them over charging. The art in charging is in stopping in time. Beware of third party chargers too which may not be rated to suit your iphone. I ruined an old nokia with an aftermarket charger a few years ago..
Yes yes I know off topic but rapid chargers are expensive and justifiably so.

Don't know about this app and don't really care.
