For the two people playing games on a Mac: If your input is frequently stuck or ignored in games, try turning Game Mode OFF. It seems macOS's Game Mode will deprioritize and make your input stuck after a period of time when load is heavy no matter the game or platform (GOG or MAS) or input device (keyboard/mouse or controller) or chip (M1 or M4 Max). Turning game mode OFF will fix It completely. (on macOS26: Click the rocket icon in the menu bar or press Command + Esc in game to open the interface and go to the rightmost section to turn it off for that game.)
I personally encountered this in WoW, Control, Cyberpunk and Death Stranding, with Keyboard/Mouse and Controllers.
It's so stupid. The one big "gaming feature" They pushed and advertised for 2 OS versions? and gets turned on by default for all games with no option to disable globally will make all games basically unplayable after a certain period of time under load. Like they are actively trying to make playing games on Mac confusing and frustrating and make people give up trying to play some games on Mac. It's actually quite funny at this point. LOL

I think this predates Tahoe but since It's still in Tahoe I wish this post can help some poor mac users trying to make this niche work.......
