Just hacked my UK 1.1.2 iPhone and wanted to check if there is a simple way to stop iTunes from automatically looking for firmware updates and installing them?

Would it normally do this so I can avoid any potential issues with bricking on a firmware upgrade?

Thanks.

When a firmware upgrade does come out, you check the box that says "Do not ask me again" and then click No for the last time for 1.1.3 :) (When it does come out)

iTunes automatically looks for updates, it does not install them unless you click the install button.

Cheers. to clarify - if I want to go back to a legal 1.1.2 unhacked device like I had a couple of hours ago - the restore in iTunes will do that OK?
