This is more of a poll does anyone else notice that noise when bluetooth is turned off...? Make sure you hold your head real close and turn it on and off and you should hear a difference. This only applies to the MBP's.

I don't hear anything. And even if I did hear it at that distance, I wouldn't bother writing about it, as I don't usually type on my MBP with my ears.

Come on, Remo, if you'd lay of the MSG and eat pure healthy Korean foods, you would not only be able to do this, but also run on the surface of the water! :D

I'm beginning to think people are expecting their MBP's to be too silent, and are looking for noisemakers anywhere they can find 'em.

How about a new poll? Stick your ear to your car's engine while its turned on.. and then ask your friend to turn on the A/C and note the difference in sound. :D

This is so ridiculous, out of all the legit problems ppl have with mbps, you gotta do this to find a buzz?

I think the reason he mentions it is that when you enable Bluetooth, the processor whine stops due to the extra load. It works the same as enabling Photo Booth.

slight whine...

well, on my white 2ghz macbook, i do notice the buzz/whine when bluetooth or photobooth isnt on, but thats only when plugged in. i have to put my ear very close to actually hear the whine that comes from the connection between the magsafe and the macbook. the louder buzz/whine comes from the actual brick! when im charging up, the buzz/whine is insanely loud!

This really is getting old, folks.
Indeed. Am I the only person who missed the "all new laptops are expected to be absolutely silent and produce no heat when operating" memo?
