Turn off Edge icon when edge is off?

Hi, I'm using SBsettings to toggle edge/3g/wifi on and off and it works damn well, only issue is when I turn off Edge the E icon remains on the status bar.

I'm quite sure I'm not the only one although I never heard anyone mention this... is there a way to disable the icon as well?

My second question is: there's really no way for non-jailbroken iphones to completely shut-off intenet (edge/gprs)? Really??

would block all carrier data even on stock firmware iphones.
About the edge icon its always there even when shut off, does it bother you that much?

No it's not a big deal, just thought this an interesting bug to tackle in the next release... might write to the developer.
