Hi,

I have a Mac Mini from 2009.
And it stands in my bedroom and is almost always on.
So the led light is a bit annoying in front of the Mac Mini.
Is there a way to turn this off when it's on?

Silver electrical tape is your friend. Short of opening up the mac mini and disconnecting the LED there's not a lot else you can do.

How about a location change? Even turn it around the other way so you're looking at the back of it. Then if that fails do the duct/electrical/ ideas.:D

Like it. Keeps the power button nice and handy; no need to buy a Belkin hub just to have some USB ports where you can reach them; easier to reach behind and slot a CD in rather than groping for a USB/Firewire socket....I think you may have a winner here.:D

The reason I mentioned that is because on my 2010 I am about ready to do that so I can connect cables easier and reach/use the SD card slot.:D

...plus of course, if you do need to reach behind in the dark to insert a CD, there's a handy white LED throwing some light on the matter...
