Turn off Live Photo!

I do not like Live Photo

I will turn it off on the camera screen, it will stay off for awhile, then after some time it will turn itself back on.


How do I permanently turn off Live Photo

I have the same problem. Already sent a feedback to Apple, but knowing them it might take them a year to address it. Pretty frustrated, actually my whole household and the immediate family with iPhones are pissed about this bug!

Sorry, I don't like live photos either, but I turned it off when when they first made it available and have never had to reset it on either my or my wife's phone.

Turned on but Live Photo will eventually turn itself back on. Wont turn back on right away, but always comes back on

That’s really weird. In over 2 years now, life photos has never once turned back on for me.

Never turned back on me until I started using iPhone X. I never used or liked Live Photo’s. Once in awhile I notice it comes back on even with the preserved settings enabled. Highly annoying.

Its odd. No matter how I set the settings it’s always on. Not sure if it’s an 11.2 bug at this point.

Still comes on once in awhile. Never happened to me before until started using iPhone X. Even with beta iOS 11 on my i7 never turned on.

Thank you for the replies everyone.

Although there does not seem to be a “Oh Yea .. Here is the fix” for this, I found this a positive post.

I consider myself pretty technical savvy, I am not a self proclaimed expert, but I can figure things out. Knowing that some others are having the same issue makes me feel better

We brought this up here months ago. Still no fix. Settings do nothing to resolve. Live photo and flash randomly reset.

Someone here said it right. Ios 12.something will fix this....eventually
