Since I installed Lion every time I open a file in Quicktime or Preview it also opens the last file I opened kinda annoying anyone figured out how to turn this off?

To answer my own question go into System Preferences-->General and uncheck "restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps"

you know, if you have "restore windows" checked, you can use "opt + cmd + Q" to disregard windows and quit all in one command. If its unchecked, you can use that same command to do the opposite and keep the windows open for that app and quit. It's kind of cool, since for certain apps at certain times, I want to start with a clean slate.

yes the preview restore last display feature could be a bit disastrous/embarrassing for some that have "unique" picture collections and open up a PDF at work.

:D
