just noticed that, if i hover over a safari tab, i get a pop-up thumbnail of that page; cool, but i don't need it. is there any way to disable this?

try booting in safe mode. then reboot normally. and are you running any 3rd-party extensions? if safari opens in safe mode, remove (or at least disable) them.

try these things, see if it helps... as this doesn't seem to be a common issue. good luck!

no extensions, just using plain safari; For entire day today, it has held up good; may be some kernel panics here and there, expected in beta. will continue to monitor it and see how it goes.

thx

edit: nevermind - just happened again, need to wait for next public beta update and hopefully it will be fixed.

Sorry, forgot to mention that..yes, have done the safe boot as well; it stays good for a while and then suddenly brings the entire system down. Trying to go thru console to see if I can find the culprit..

Also, at times the keyboard gets super hot and I am connected with external monitor.

I use browser for pretty much everything I do; my work and personal emails are on browser, I use office 365 online and google docs as well online. Even my coding work is online..so browser is super important app for me :-|

thx..if I find something, I will update on this post.

is there a site that brings it down? are there a lot of open tabs? anyway, you could always use chrome for now... just a thought.

Its usually the video that starts playing automatically that brings down the browser; CNN, BBC, here local news websites in India..random but video is the common thing.

Using Microsoft Edge for time being for all the work related stuff.
