Have poor cell reception in house. WiFi Calling works great, but drains my battery significantly. That's not a problem in my house because I can keep my phone on a charger. But when I leave my house and can rely on cell reception, I want to shut off WiFi Calling. Would like to put WiFi Calling in my Control Center so I can quickly turn On/Off WiFi Calling. The non-Control Center methodology for turning WiFi Calling On and Off is a multi-step process. Can this be done?

As a feature suggestion for the iPhone, have the ability to assign a WiFi Network name(s) where, whenever you are connected to that network(s) it turns On WiFi Calling. When you are out of range of that network(s) it would turn Off WiFi Calling. So, wherever you have problematic cell reception, the iPhone will automatically switch to WiFi Calling, and return you to cell reception when you are not in a known, poor reception area.

First - I don't trust your hypothesis. Wi-Fi Calling tends to be easier on the battery than using both Wi-Fi and mobile data for calls at the same time. If you're out-and-about and not connected to Wi-Fi, of course Wi-Fi calling being on or off makes zero difference. If you're somewhere with a known Wi-Fi network, it'll use that network for calls and data, instead of using Wi-Fi for data and Cellular for calls - which will (normally) use more energy. The only possibility I can imagine where Wi-Fi calling might use more battery on than off, is if you're connected to a spotty wifi but have excellent mobile signal. If that's the case, "Forget" the wifi network so the phone won't connect to it.

That said - Wi-Fi calling isn't something you can control through the Shortcuts app, that I can find, so your best bet is to suggest that through https://apple.com/feedback
