Turned off the iPhone and it will not power back on...

I powered my phone down and it will not power back on, despite being hooked up to the wall unit or the USB on the PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated? Could it possibly be stuck in DFU?

if it is stuck in DFU you should be able to reboot it holding down the power and home buttons

Not stuck in DFU. I have the same problem. It happens from time to time. Just hook to Mac, leave there for around 5 min, then try to turn back on.

Edit - It gets annoying after a few times, but I still haven't figured out what is causing the phone no to respond at times. I have thus far, been able to only put together heat related reasons. Seems when my iPhone was hot after a long use (game for example) and I turn it off, it will take time to reboot. I have had no issues thus far when the phone is cool. So the evidence I've seen on mine, will be useful if others post about it as well, has led me to think it's heat. But I may be wrong.
