I have an old iMac running Leopard and I would like to use it as an AppleTV-esque media center on my TV. I have the TV adapter hooked up and the screens in mirror mode so Front Row shows on the TV and the built in screen. Is there anyway to shut off (or make the internal screen black [you can't turn the brightness all the way down like you can with a laptop]) so the video just displays on the TV / VGA out? Also is there anyway to get iTunes to share Album art over the network (a plugin or something)?

--Thanks!

I have never tried it, but u can try going into settings and change the display settings to put display to sleep after so long, just make it as short as possible. I never tried it so I do not know if I will still show on your tv. Also try doing some research on how much your imac is worth. If you are willing to sell it, you may be able to pick up a used mac mini of ebay or something. I have seen coreduo go for 400-500. So if you get one of the first gen mac mini you may be able to get it cheap. just a suggestion.
