I've got a year old iPod Photo (not sure what gen) 40 gigs. It's officially pooped, but it works fine when plugged into my computer. It's on a USB, and I don't have a firewire or wall plug. I have a new computer, so not much for files, yet, and i don't plan on buying a real external hard drive for a while. I was wondering if it's possible to use my iPod as a hard drive with Time Machine, and back up what i've got. any suggestions? i'm open to anything, and probably capable of working inside my ipod with out messing things up... too bad, at least.
