I have a Mac Mini M2 Pro with 3 displays. A few days ago I replaced the primary display. Now when I turn off the main display (e.g. when watching a movie on the second one), it disappears completely from the display configuration, causing all open windows to be moved to other displays. This wasn't the case with the old display. The only thing that has changed, apart from the display itself, is that it's now connected via an USB-C > DP adapter instead of USB-C > HDMI.
Is there anything I can do about that?

This is caused by the display itself. Often, Dell displays will behave this way while LG displays won't. If it's a big problem for you, you may want to get a different brand display.

Hm, seems I like I have to leave it turned on then. Thanks for the reply!
