Trying to turn off Find My iPhone so I can jailbreak. When I type my password and tap "Turn Off", the window shakes as if my password is wrong. It is not wrong; I've typed it 100,000 times.

EDIT: Solved! Pangu asks you to put the phone in Airplane mode, and then asks you to turn off Find My iPhone. This is backwards as you can't be in Airplane mode when you try to turn off Find My iPhone. Weird that it didn't warn me, but after I turned off Airplane Mode, Find My iPhone turned off no problem.

Do you have airplane mode on when you're doing this? Turn it off and it'll work. I did the same thing and forgot about airplane mode

Yep, that was the trick! So weird that no one is talking about this that I can see. Pangu asks you to put it in Airplane Mode BEFORE turning off Find My iPhone. That will cause problems for anyone who tries it.

The symptoms you describe are also a result of having two-step verification on for your Apple ID.

I turned in a phone for replacement about a month ago and since I was jailbroken at the time (8.1) the genius asked me to turn of Find My iPhone and restore. I had the exact same symptoms you describe so the genius had me long in to icloud.com and turn Find My iPhone off from there.

For various other reasons I have simply turned off two-step verification and thus turning Find My iPhone off does not do this to me anymore.

Just a thought here. Don't know why it would work though after putting it in airplane mode (assuming you have two-step verification on.

glad you got it jb, but where did you read that lol If its the app itself its because you were supposed to turn it off before you start same as the passcode, but when the app was ready to inject it saw find my iPhone on and told you to turn it off before continuing and not because you needed to do airplane then find my iPhone in that order.

All I know is that I simply followed instructions given by Pangu. First it told me to put my phone in airplane mode. Then just before jail breaking it told to turn off Find My iPhone, in that order.
