turning off internal speaker on mac pro?

this might be a very noobish question.....but guys..how do i turn off internal speaker for mac pro? right now sound is coming from both internal and 5.1 speakers i have....i went to control panel and sound/speakers....but there was no option for output to just choose like in osx...

It's a known issue. You can't. The latest version of the Bootcamp drivers fixed it for me, however.

i just installed latest boot camp and still does that....i am using optical sound....so there is no option to turn off this internal speaker?....

Plug an adapter, extender or cable into the front headphone jack when you're using Windows.
