Turning off Pin Code for Unlocked 3g

Hello,

I have unlocked my iPhone 3g with Yellowsn0w. I am also heading over to Europe next month and I am looking into getting a Sim Card over their. The sim card I would like to get has a Pin Code on it. Which at this point is not supported by Yellowsn0w. I also do not have another unlocked phone to turn this off. Is there another way to turn off the Pin Code with out a unlocked phone.

Use the SIM on another phone, use that phone to eliminate the Pin #, reinsert the SIM into your iPhone and ready.

Can you do this with a locked phone? I thought it would have to be unlocked for the phone to see the sim.

Of course the phone that you need to see the SIM settings has to be unlocked.

Not that I know off, try going to the carriers store and having the PIN removed. That could work also
