Turning ON the Mac Mini 2010

I'm thinking of buying my first Mac - a Mac Mini
Migrating over from pc after many years
Can the Mac Mini be turned on remotely instead of pushing an ON button on the unit
Hoping it can be turned on with Apple Remote or by pressing a key on a wireless keyboard - away from the box

If it's asleep (and not actually off), then yes.

You might have some luck with Wake On Lan; I've never tried that with a Mac.
