Any place but here or there....
Hi everyone,

So accidentally updated the iPad to 12.3 and as many know, you need an internet connection to show exactly what's in your TV app on your iPad or iPhone.

I do not stream.

I watch burned and converted movies on my iPad.

Am I missing something? Is there anyway around constantly needing an internet connection to access and watch my movies?

And is there is a different app I can use on the iPad and iPhone that will allow iTunes and ripped movies to play without an internet connection?

I haven't updated to 12.3 on my iPhone 8+ yet, and now I don't want to.

Thanks.

My iPad is at 12.3. When I turn off wifi and then go into the TV app, it automatically opens to the Downloaded window which shows me that I have Logan downloaded. I'm surprised that yours doesn't go to the Downloaded window. Maybe restarted the iPad would help.

Thank you for tip, it did not help.

I have to play around with VLC. Just as well.

So all of this talk of VLC through the years, and I never bothered to look into it until now. Thankfully, it works like iTunes used to. So no more annoying TVapp on my iDevices.
