TV.app Cable Provider Integration?

Hello,
Is there a way to 'sign in' with a cable provider in the TV.app on macOS Catalina like iOS and tvOS?
What happens if you click on a movie or tv show, does it take you to your cable providers website to watch it? or does it play in the TV.app?

As far as I can tell, the only thing the TV.app on Catalina is good for is purchased content through Apple. There is no integration with any streaming services, etc. Pretty disappointing.

It's possible that once apps like Amazon Prime and DC Universe (for instance) launch macOS apps through Project Catalyst that the macOS TV app will gain functions closer to iOS/tvOS.
