The title says it all (at least for the local library).

Removed recently added. Search only searches the store, not local library. TV seasons must be scrolled to instead of being available near the title. Icons/poster/layout horrible. What the heck is this?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I have a recently added tab however all types are merged into recently added, movies, tv shows etc. Would prefer one for TV shows and one for movies like before. Maybe something that will be added down the road.

No search for local library kinda sucks. I could not find any way for it to search my local library either.

Doh, if it (recent tab) was a snake....that mitigates a portion of my b*%ing

I'm shocked that Apple launched a TV app stripped of so many great features we once had in iTunes, I don't understand, seems like a major mistake or blunder. This is really unprofessional of Apple. Aside from what you mention, there isn't even a way to tell what in my library has been watched or or not, and there is no way to change the video quality any more, and there are no customer reviews and you and you can't leave a review, etc, etc. I used iTunes on my Mac to watch tv and movies every day, and now every time I launch the tv and music apps I get angry and frustrated. I'm truly pissed off.

I moved to Android and Debian (raspberry pi linux plus kodi) after getting frustrated with iTunes attempt to impose its rules on video viewing. Surely somene's come out with a decent alternative, not VLC, by now?
I'm never coming back, but has Apple locked down the App store video app market to the extent the Chinese are banging on Hong Kong?
