I recently moved my media server from an older Mac to an M2 Mac mini. In this process, I’ve been forced off iTunes and onto Music and TV, so (since Ventura’s versions of these applications cannot even open an iTunes library file anyway) I manually copied all media into the new library by and started over from scratch with them. I absolutely hate the “widescreen” artwork format, but have resigned myself to being forced to use it everywhere now. I manually updated all the artwork for TV shows and movies in the files themselves, but the TV application still shows the traditional movie poster artwork on every file. Opening the info window for each file shows the correct widescreen artwork, but the main view itself doesn’t update, nor does the artwork update on any connected devices (Apple TVs, iDevices accessing the library over Home Sharing, etc.). Where do I go in the filesystem to clear whatever cache TV is using for this artwork (which no longer exists) in order to fix this rendering problem? Thanks.
Or… do I literally have to disassemble the library again and copy in every single file manually all over again…
