I have purchase the ATV 2gen and loving it which is hooked up in the bedroom. I would like to purchase another but the other TV is in the family room and only has component hookup. I've been trying to see if there is anyway for me to hookup the ATV to it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Alicia

Sorry. You'll either need to run it through a receiver with HDMI input and component or coaxial out to the TV, or get a TV with HDMI input.

I kind of figure that but just wanted to see if I had other options oh well. I guess I will hook it up to one of the other televisions, its just the family room tv is still going strong since purchasing it in 2002:).

Might be cheaper to get the receiver and that way you will have a good base to start a nice home theater system.

Something like the Onkyo TXSR508 is a good starter

The TV that I mention is the only one in my house that does not have HDMI inputs just component. The 2nd ATV that I did purchase will go down in the basement instead so no worries.
