Does anyone think this would be a much better, and preferred method/addition to the TV show purchase on iTunes?

I never watch a TV show more than once, and I don't like them clogging up my iPhone and iTunes, hence I think it would be a nice idea if they allowed one to rent a TV show for 59p, you watch it and then it removes itself - with the option of paying full price for it to remain on your device.

What do you all think?

It would be nice, but the closest we have to that is watching them on Hulu (at least in the US).

Of course we have TV On Demand here - but, you can't bring them anywhere! There is no safe and legal version to get those shows on your device to watch them on a journey :)

True, and it is the same with Hulu here, you are stuck at your computer.
