iPod TV Show Transmission Dates

Hi

I have noticed on the TV Shows I have purchased from iTunes that when in my iPhone they show the transmission dates of the shows. Does anyone know how to get them into shows ripped from DVD as I have looked and looked in the file info and can't find where it is.
